Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade (March 14)
This annual event is Denver’s ultimate Irish celebration. Over 10,000 people participate in the parade, more than 200,000 join as spectators. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. The parade starts on Wynkoop at 19th, turns down 17th street in front of Union Station, and then turns NE down Blake street proceeding all the way up to 27th. Olde Town Arvada’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival (March 14)
Everyone’s Irish at our all-ages St. Patrick’s Day Festival. This street festival features live music, 95+ unique vendors, food trucks, a dedicated kids zone, and adult libations. This event will have plenty of activities for the whole family. Admission is FREE!
Family Make and Take: Leprechaun Gardens (March 14-15)
Discover the legend of the leprechaun as you design and create a miniature garden to attract these mischievous garden friends at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Family Make and Take programs offer a space for children and their grownups to connect with natural materials and create together. These self-guided and self-paced programs are designed to provide a creative environment that sparks imagination. The Gardens provides the space and supplies. St. Patrick’s Day 5k (March 14)
Join the festivities at our St. Patrick’s Day 5K starting on Dorchester Street in Highlands Ranch Town Center South at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026! Don your best Irish flair, round up your friends and family, lace up those running shoes, and let the celebration begin! After crossing the finish line, join fellow athletes for a refreshing pint from Living the Dream Brewing, a complimentary pancake breakfast, and lively entertainment. Keep your eyes peeled — a kettlebell will be hidden along the course! The first person to find the kettlebell and return it to the finish line wins $100! Learn more.
Family Cooking Classes at Uncorked Kitchen (March 15)
Celebrate Irish culture and have some fun together while you do so! Spend some time enjoying delicious stew, baking together and decorating sweet treats to celebrate just after the famous day. You’ll get to take home some of the goodies that you’ve baked together… but we can’t guarantee they won’t get eaten on the way there! ShamROCK Stampede (March 14)
ShamROCK Stampede’s mission is to elevate the celebration of St. Paddy’s Day with a family-friendly Walk/Run and Irish-themed festival to increase awareness and raise funds for organizations that help our veterans, first responders, and others break free from PTSD and mental illness. Includes a Family Run/Walk or a 1k Kid;s Sham-Scram.
