Memorial Day Weekend in Denver offers ways to remember as well as enjoy family time. Check out street festivals, parades and more as you kickoff the summer fun!

Memorial Day Parade (May 25)

Commerce City hosts Colorado’s largest Memorial Day Parade each year, bringing thousands of people from around the region together in our community to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Prior to the parade, the city hosts a Memorial Day Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park.

Join us after the parade for a fun-filled celebration featuring live music, delicious food trucks, and family friendly activities! Kids (and kids at heart) can enjoy a rock wall, face painting, balloon art, and more.

Boulder Creek Festival (May 22-25)

For over 30 years, the Boulder Creek Festival has been the unofficial kickoff to summer in Boulder and we are so excited to be back this summer! Widely considered Boulder County’s favorite event, the Festival includes three days of festivities featuring a large variety of events, activities, food and entertainment unique to the Boulder community. The Festival is free to the public.

Denver Arts Festival (May 23-24)

The Denver Arts Festival is a free festival featuring fine art and fine crafts from primarily Colorado artists, while also showcasing a select group of national artists. Activities include art on display, food trucks, adult beverages, and free live music both days. There will also be a Kids Art Zone where kids can create their own paintings to take home with them.

Territory Days (May 23-25)

For more than 45 years, Territory Days has been Colorado’s largest street fair. Shop hundreds of unique vendors with handcrafts from around the world at Old Colorado City in Colorado Springs. Enjoy great food, dozens of educational displays, patriotic tributes and live music from 25 bands on three stages. And best of all, admission is absolutely FREE! Mark your calendars, plan to bring the whole family and celebrate the spirit of Colorado’s 1st Territorial Capital.
