Denver has several kid friendly rock climbing gyms with programs for toddlers to teens. These facilities provide a safe and controlled environment to develop children’s skills. You’ll find after school clubs and classes, seasonal camps and even competitive teams for advanced kids.
ABC Kids Climbing
This 7,000+ square foot gym offers climbing experiences for kids as young as 2.5. Your first introduction can be through the low key open gym with help for those who are brand new to climbing. Other offerings for kids include clubs, classes, camps, parent’s night out, a homeschool club and birthday parties.
Beast Fingers Kids
BFK Kids Club provides a comprehensive recreation climbing program to City of Denver and surrounding communities at an affordable cost. The primary program offering is youth climbing classes. Participants for these classes start at one year old with parent participation through 18 years old. Other programs offered at BFK Kids include open adult climbing classes, private lessons, and birthday parties.

Young climbers are welcome on two teams at Denver Bouldering Club — the club team for new climbers and the advanced team for experienced ones. Summer camps run June through August for ages 6-14.

The Spot’s youth programs focus on establishing a passion rock climbing and developing lifelong climbers. Start with their spring or summer climbing camps, clubs or Gravity Academy classes.
