June in Denver is packed with family-friendly festivals, outdoor concerts, cultural celebrations, and community events that make the start of summer feel extra special. Whether you’re looking for free kids’ activities, food festivals, live music, or colorful neighborhood celebrations, there’s something happening nearly every weekend across the metro area.

Denver Greek Festival (June 5-7)

Join us June 5th, 6th, and 7th for the 60th annual Denver Greek Festival, a family-friendly event with plenty to enjoy. Indulge in our authentic Greek food, while immersing yourself in the sounds of live Greek music and traditional dance entertainment. The boutique features Hellenic art, paintings, sculptures, and amazing jewelry straight from Greece. Be mesmerized by our one-of-a-kind church tours, choir performances, and history.

Colorado Medieval Festival (June 5-7)

The Colorado Medieval Festival will be June 5th, 6th and 7th just  west of Loveland in The Savage Woods 1750 Savage Road, Loveland, CO.  Friday the festival will open at 3pm and close at 6:30pm. Saturday and  Sunday will open at 10am and close at 6:30pm. Knights of Mayhem bring Full Contact Jousting front and center to  the festival. The Colorado Wardens, Medieval Armored Combat, take to the palisade.  Live  music, belly dancers, princesses, aerialists, fairies and even a  mermaid! 

A  little All Hallows Eve, eat and drink. Local breweries bring the finest  cider, mead and beer to the festival. Exceptional artisans return for  your shopping pleasures. For one weekend only, come and play at the  Colorado Medieval Festival.

Denver Chalk Art Festival (June 6-7)

The event features more than 200 professional and amateur artists who will spend hours on their hands and knees over the course of two days. Their efforts transform the streets into a bright and colorful street museum, adorned in vivid pastel chalks. There will be music and a kids’ corner where your young ones will get a chance to make some chalk art of their own!

Parker Days (June 11-14)

The Parker Days Festival is an annual multi-day community celebration in Parker, Colorado, that features carnival rides, free live concerts across multiple stages, over 200 marketplace vendors, kids craft area, and local food and drink.The carnival runs Thursday through Sunday.

KidFest (June 13)

Families are invited to KidFest from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 13 for a morning of fun at Civic Green Park in Highlands Ranch. The Metro District hosts the annual free community event. Highlights include the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, South Metro Fire Rescue, activities for kids, games and local vendors sharing information about their products and services. Food trucks will be on site with food and drinks for purchase. Entertainment will take place on center stage at Civic Green Park.

Strawberry Days Festival (June 19-21)

The Strawberry Days Festival features live music, stage entertainment, a FamilyFest for kids, arts & crafts, a food court, a carnival, and a parade down Grand Avenue. Of course, there are free strawberries and ice cream after the parade.

Juneteenth Music Festival (June 20)

Each year Denver’s Historic Five Points Neighborhood transforms into a hub of entertainment and celebration for the community in honor of Juneteenth, the day when the last of the nation’s enslaved people learned of their freedom.

Highlands Street Fair (June 20)

Celebrate the summer and join us for the Highlands Street Fair! Stroll along W. 32nd Avenue between Perry and Irving and enjoy live music, food from local restaurants, great shopping and more. Best of all, the event is free! Gather your friends or come with the whole-family for a day of community and fun in the sun.

Colorado Pride Fest (June 27-28)

Denver Pride consists of three main events, encompassing the festival, 5K and a parade. This weekend celebration produces the largest annual fundraiser for The Center and contributes directly to critical services for the local LGBTQ+ community, such as mental health support, programming for the transgender and gender diverse community, youth, older adults, and more.
