Noon Year’s Eve at The Shops at Northfield

Ring in the New Year early at our Noon Year’s Celebration on Saturday, December 31, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bring the whole family for a festive countdown to noon featuring a dazzling balloon drop, fun activities, live entertainment, face painting, and more.

Noon Year’s Eve at The Children’s Museum of Denver – Marsico Campus

We’re bringing the glitz and glam of NYE in Times Square, all before bedtime! This one-of-a-kind family-friendly celebration to ring in the New Year features ball drops at the top of every hour from 10 am – 3 pm, festive music, special New Year’s-themed programming and more. The ball drops will take place out on the plaza in our seasonal outdoor experience, SNOW DAYS! Activities are included with Museum admission, members are free!

Cosmic Countdown at the Museum of Nature and Science

Join us for an out-of-this-world Cosmic Countdown! This event is perfect for young explorers who want to ring in the New Year without staying up until midnight. Come see objects from outer space, blast off in mini rockets and create your own space jewelry, among many more space-themed activities. As we count down to our celestial celebration, enjoy live demonstrations that are truly out of this world! Be sure to join us at your ticket time for our big New Year countdown and we invite you to come early and stay after to explore the Museum.

Sharkey’s New Year’s Eve Bash

Join us at the Aquarium as we ring in the New Year featuring a delicious buffet, sparkling cider toast, prizes, and so much more! Bring the family and join us for Sharkey’s New Year’s Eve Bash! Join us December 31st in our beautiful Nautilus Ballroom as we ring in the new year together at the Aquarium. There are two seating for this event at 11am or 2pm. This event lasts for 2 hours per time slot. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

New Year’s Fireworks

For more than two decades, the city has been celebrating the new year with fireworks over downtown. There will be two free shows, 9 p.m. and midnight, from two rooftop locations. The best spot to see the shows is from 16th Street.
