Ghosts in the Gardens – Open Air Scare

October 10-12, 17-19; 5:30-10:30 p.m.
Denver Botanic Garden – York Street Location

Denver Botanic Gardens dares you to join us after dark for the spine-tingling stories of our haunted history. This tour is self-guided, and you may visit the storytellers in any order you would like. The tour should take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Storytellers will begin new stories every quarter-hour. Get tickets.

Victorian Horrors

October 17-18, 23-25, 30-31; 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Molly Brown House

Join us for our Victorian Horrors theater program where deathly tales written by well-known but long-gone authors are read by acclaimed local actors in a one hour program. Admission times are every 15 minutes from 6 PM to 9 PM. For Historic Denver Members – $25, General Admission Tickets – $30. Get tickets.

13th Floor Haunted House

Get ready to get scared — the 13th Floor Haunted House is rated as one of the Top 5 Most Terrifying Haunted Houses in the Country by USA Today. Three themed tours will take you through the haunted journey. A food truck and Shriekeasy Bar are available. Recommended for ages 12+, select nights through Nov. 9. Get tickets.

Fright Fest at Elitch Gardens

When the sun goes down, the fear takes over. Haunted houses, terrifying scare zones, sinister live entertainment and your favorite rides in the dark create an atmosphere of nonstop thrills. Beware – scares lurk around every corner, and only the brave will survive the night. Parental discretion is advised after 6 p.m., as Fright By Night contains scares not recommended for children. Capitol Hill Ghost Tour

Join one of the seasoned paranormal investigators as they guide you on a walking tour of some of Capital Hill neighborhood’s most famous haunted homes. Hear real stories as they recall and provide actual haunted evidence captured when personally investigating the majority of these properties as well as purported ghostly activity from the eerie locations you will visit. Boo ‘n Brew on Colfax Avenue

Saturday, Oct. 25

The event is two parts – one-part Kids and Family fun and one-part Adult self-led Halloween bar crawl. From 1-4 p.m., Colfax will come alive with the cutest costumed kiddos, a family-friendly block party, complete with trick-or-treating at more than 20 Colfax businesses, live music, pumpkin decorating, food and drink specials and MORE!

Later that day, Boo n’ Brew welcomes back the adults (or maybe just don’t ever leave?!), for a spooktacular bar/restaurant crawl. Participating businesses will offer the best drink specials in town, live music, costume contests and more. Get details.

Adulting with Animals: Monster Masquerade
