Noon Year’s Eve at the Children’s Museum of Denver

The Children’s Museum of Denver – Marsico Campus is bringing the glitz and glam of NYE in Times Square, all before bedtime!

This one-of-a-kind family-friendly celebration to ring in the New Year features ball drops at the top of every hour from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., festive music, special New Year’s-themed programming and more.

The ball drops will take place out on the plaza in our seasonal outdoor experience, SNOW DAYS!

Noon Year’s Eve Countdown at The Shops at Northfield

Ring in the New Year early at The Shops at Northfield with our Noon Year’s Eve Countdown and Celebration on Tuesday, December 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Perfect for families, this fun-filled event in The Plaza (Main Street and 47th Ave) offers exciting activities for all ages. Enjoy kid-friendly crafts, face painting, dancing with a DJ, and plenty of giveaways. Don’t miss the thrilling countdown to noon, complete with a festive balloon drop!

New Year’s Eve Fireworks

For more than two decades, the city has been celebrating the new year with fireworks over downtown. There will be two free shows, 9 p.m. and midnight, from two rooftop locations. The best spot to see the shows is from the 16th Street Mall.

Cosmic Countdown at the Museum of Nature and Science

Join us for an out-of-this-world Cosmic Countdown! Perfect for young space explorers who want to ring in the New Year without staying up until midnight. Suit up like a scientist and strut down the Milky Way red carpet! Blast off mini rockets, make your own space themed drink, and dance to the cosmic beats. As we count down to our celestial celebration, enjoy demonstrations that are truly out of this world. Don’t miss this chance to create magical memories in a stellar setting while kicking off the New Year festivities.

The Mile High Tree Countdown

Join the party at The Mile High Tree will host a special ball drop-style, digital countdown at 9 p.m. and midnight. Admission is free at Civic Center Park.
