Jurassic Quest Coming to the Colorado Convention Center March 10-12
The largest and most realistic dinosaur exhibit in North America is coming to the Colorado Convention Center Friday, March 10 – Sunday, March 12. The exhibit features life-size sky-scraping dinosaurs, one-of-a-kind walking dinosaur rides, a life-size T. rex skull, plus real fossils of T. rex teeth and a Triceratops horn.
Guests will walk through the Cretaceous Period, the Jurassic Period and the Triassic Period and experience for themselves what it was like to be among living, breathing dinosaurs.
Dates and Times
Jurassic Quest takes place Friday, March 10, noon – 8 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sunday, March 12, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Jurassic Quest is a go-at-your-own-pace, self-guided experience. The average length of stay to enjoy all Jurassic Quest has to offer is 1 to 2 hours. Strollers and wagons are welcome.
In collaboration with leading paleontologists, each one was painstakingly replicated in every detail. Whether their prehistoric counterpart had skin that was scaly, had feathers or fur, Jurassic Quest has spared no expense in bringing this realism to life. In Jurassic Quests Dinosaur World, the dinosaurs roar and move, some even walk around.
Highlights include a 60-foot-long Spinosaurus, an 80-foot-long Apatosaurus and a gigantic life-size T. rex. There is also an interactive baby dinosaur show where guests can meet lifelike baby dinosaurs like Tyson the T. rex, Trixie the Triceratopsand Cammie the Camarasaurus. Guests can jump on the back of an animatronic dinosaur and go for a ride. There is a dino dig for junior paleontologists and bounce houses too (socks required). Children can take part in craft and science activities. Lifelike adolescent dinosaurs will be roaming around the event creating lots of great photos ops while guests are exploring.
