Downtown Denver Rink

The Downtown Denver Rink opens November 20 and the cityscape around the rink is a magic all its own. We love this one because admission is free – just pay for your skate rental.

Hours
11 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sundays. Open Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Rink open through Feb. 11. Hours vary after Christmas.

Cost
Admission is free! Kids 12 and under skate rental-$9 and fourth graders are free; adult skate rental-$11 My Denver cards accepted.

McGregor Square

McGregor Skate is LoDo’s newest skating rink located in the bustling McGregor Square plaza. Open daily, McGregor Skate is the perfect winter activity for guests of all ages. With skates available on-site, the rink can be enjoyed by locals and travelers alike. Opens November 24.

November 24 – January 7: noon – 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday; noon-6 pm. Sundays.

January 8 – February: noon – 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday; noon-6p.m. Sunday.

Parker Ice Trail

During the winter, the Parker Ice Trail at Discovery Park, located next to Parker’s Library on Mainstreet and Pine Drive, is available seven days a week. The rink opens for the season on November 24. One of the only ice trails in the country, the Parker skating path meanders through the park reminiscent of a frozen river or canal. Skaters or visitors can stay warm next to any of the three fire pits adjacent to the ice trail or enjoy hot chocolate while watching skaters pass by. Concessions, skate rental and restroom facilities are available for all patrons visiting the park.

Monday through Friday: 5 to 9 p.m; Saturday: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Skating in the Square (Arvada)

Nothing is more fun than a twirl around a skating rink under the twinkling lights! Head to Olde Town to take your turn! Don’t miss the Holiday Bar in the Square (open Thursday – Sunday) to enjoy a snack or a drink.

The Rink at Belmar

The Rink at Belmar opens November 17 under string lights, and is first come first serve. To expedite your check-in, fill out a waiver online. Skating is limited to one hour.
