Looking for a new tradition or a fun evening out to see some lights? Check out the Denver Botanic Gardens’ Trail of Lights or Blossoms of Light!
Trail of Lights
Chatfield Farms
8500 W. Deer Creek Canyon Road
Littleton, CO 80128
Our family has made the Trail of Lights one of our most beloved holiday traditions. Located at Chatfield Farms in Littleton this beautiful display allows you to walk the paths through the gardens and witness some truly spectacular displays. The trees are decorated with colorful LED lights and you can also find bold, bright tunnels to walk through. The scale of the trees with the lights is amazing and lovely in the snow. There are lights timed to music, model tractors and singing decorations as well. They even have a warming hut with holiday theme decor inside.
There are hot beverages and some snacks available for purchase and on certain days a Holiday Market is also open.
This is a great event for kids, we have been taking our daughter since before she could walk. There are lots of places for pictures and you can even stop by and see the chickens! The paths are stroller friendly, but you will want to pay attention to weather. If it snows or is muddy some areas can be more difficult to navigate. Be sure and wrap up as the entirety of the path is outdoors. The children’s play area also has some fun light displays and is always a fun place to stop and play.
You need to buy tickets in advance, and the event runs various days and times from November 24-January 1.
