At the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus, there is something for everyone! Whether you’re scrambling through the 3 1/2 story tall climber, making bubbles bigger than your body, constructing with real tools or painting a masterpiece, all ages are in for a fun visit!
What Kids Will Love
The whole family can get active at the museum. The littlest visitors and their grown ups will love Bloom, a wild and whimsical garden-inspired space designed just for
children newborn – 36 months. Toddlers and preschoolers will enjoy playing firefighter, exploring with bubbles, and engaging in imaginary play in Ready Vet Go and My Market. Elementary school kids will stretch their scientist skills with exhibits focused on STEAM including Kinetics, Water and Energy as well as The Teaching Kitchen and Art Studio. Those ages 4 and older shouldn’t miss the Altitude Climber for 360 views of Denver.
Our favorite exhibit is the impressive Adventure Forest, a 500-foot long adventure course that ends in a 70-ft tall slide! Kids must be aged 5+ or 44 inches tall to participate. Littles can play in the sand, water (summer only) and other outdoor experiences in Joy Park.
What Moms Will Love
We love that there truly is something for the whole family. The museum employees are engaged in assisting kids with projects and hands-on learning. We also love the daily programs for more structured play time including story time, cooking classes, art studio time and outdoor exploration.
Who It’s Best For
The museum is designed for newborns to 8 years old, but people of all ages can have fun at the musem. With hands-on exhibits, we found even our pre-teens were engaged in learning.
