Holiday Tree Lightings in Denver
Christmas Tree Lighting at Outlets at Castle Rock (4 p.m., Nov. 16)
Experience the enchantment of the holiday season as we illuminate Colorado’s biggest Christmas tree, turning Outlets at Castle Rock into a winter wonderland. Activities include live music, the Grand Illumination, Santa’s arrival, holiday shopping, and the fireworks spectacular.
The Mile High Tree in Denver (5:15 p.m., Nov. 22)
“The Mile High Tree Presented by Xfinity,” a seven-story 110-foot-tall immersive art, 39-foot diameter conical structure, is 10 feet higher than the tallest Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in history and contains 60,000 LED lights to create its signature programming. The tree features nightly free public light shows choreographed to multi-cultural holiday music and accommodating up to 140 guests at a time for an immersive viewing experience within the tree. The Mile High Tree was created by ILMEX Illumination, a globally renowned decorative lighting production company in Spain. The tree will be lit at 5:15 p.m. on November 22.
Switch on the Holidays in Boulder (5 p.m., Nov. 24)
Kicking off the holiday season, join Downtown Boulder, Freezie the Snowman and Santa to countdown to the grand illumination of the Boulder County Courthouse and the Pearl Street Mall. Event starts at 5 p.m. Grand illumination will be at approximately 5:20 p.m. Visits with Santa until 7 p.m.
Mayor’s Holiday Lighting (5:30 p.m. Nov. 29)
Gather around the park and join the Mayor and the Parker Chorale as they kick off the event with a Silent Night Sing-along! Following Silent Night, the Mayor and Town Council will count down to the Town Tree and Grand Park Lighting. After the lights have been lit, enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season with walk-around entertainment, ice sculptures, food vendors, and stage performances from Parker-area high school choirs.
Once the park is lit up, it’s time for the fun to begin! Follow the path and take in the sights of the “cool” holiday ice sculpture displays. You may even spot an Elf in a tree or run into some holiday characters all of whom will have a story to tell or an activity to show you. Listen to the holiday sounds while enjoying tasty food from the various food vendors.
Olde Town Arvada Annual Tree Lighting (4 p.m., Nov. 30)
Festivities kick off at 2 p.m. with a lively pop-up makers’ market with 40+ local artisan vendors, bars, and Skating in the Square. The evening’s music will start with a festive march led by the brass band, Guerrilla Fanfare, marching through the streets of Olde Town. The march will be starting at 5 p.m. in front of Carly’s Boutique (7401 Grandview Ave). Guerrilla Fanfare will guide us back to the square, before the grand tree lighting at 6 p.m! Following the tree lighting enjoy music from the Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts trio as you explore Olde Town businesses and our Holiday Pop-up Market too for unique shopping experiences for everyone on your Holiday Gift List. Tree Lighting Ceremony in Westminster (Dec. 2)
Traditionally held the first Monday evening in December, in the Civic Center Sunken Garden for the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. We will light the tree, sing carols and of course… be visited by Santa Claus himself.
Holiday Tree Lighting in Aurora (5 p.m., Dec. 3)
This FREE event will have holiday-themed activities, sweet treats, magical light displays, performances from Aurora Heart Dancers and The Original Dickens Carolers and special appearances from Ana and Elsa, as well as the one and only Santa Claus.
